1. Business & use case

Amra Feni Basi USA is a nonprofit community organization. We send transactional SMS only for event registration and attendance confirmation (not marketing promotions to non-consenting numbers).

2. How recipients opt in

Visit a published event page under /events.
Complete the Event Registration form and enter a phone number.
Check the required SMS opt-in checkbox (shown below).
Submit the form. Consent is collected only via this website process.

4. Sample confirmation SMS

Hi [Name], you are registered for "[Event Title]".
Please confirm your attendance by replying: YES [event-slug]

Recipients can reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.

5. Suggested Twilio "opt-in description" text

Copy into Twilio Registration Details → describe your opt-in type:

Recipients opt in to SMS on our website during event registration. On each public event page (http://localhost:3000/events/[slug]), the registration form requires a phone number and a mandatory SMS consent checkbox before submit. Checkbox text: "I agree to receive event registration and attendance confirmation text messages from Amra Feni Basi USA at the phone number provided. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe, HELP for help." Links to Privacy Policy and Terms are shown next to the checkbox. We do not use verbal or third-party purchased lists.
